This is my first post on my newly created site and I’m pretty exited. I’ve always loved planners in any form, shape or color… but I’ve never been able to keep one for more than a year (absolutely max!). Last fall I started up again and went through a huge amount of layouts (bought some, found some…), but none matched what I wanted, and what I wanted kept changing. So I started designing my own, but even then I kept changing things up. That’s why I started out with a Filofax system witch I still love and that can change whenever I need it to, but it’s a lot of work.
I had read about bullet journaling and thought, as most people do, that’s waaaaaaaay too time consuming! Until it hit me that I wasn’t going to settle for any of my layouts no matter how awesome I got at Photoshop editing, so I was spending a lot of time on it anyway. I did some research, a lot of it in fact, and the only thing I really needed was the original system. It does explain most of what you need. 🙂
After that I went on the search for inspiration. And here comes they “WHY” of this blog. I searched Pinterest and Instagram and found a lot of beautiful layouts and ideas that I could use and eventually make my own. I did however find that I came across the same layouts over and over again so I thought (as a lot of you probably do too) that if I ever got really into this I would try and post some pics of what I do in case someone else want to use it.
So… I’m only starting, but I’ve got my Instagram account up and running and I’m posting this first text today. Below you can see a little bit of how my Bullet Journal looks like right now. I keep changing layouts of course, but try to stick to a theme, at least for a week at the time. 😛
On future entries I’ll try to explain what made me switch from a simple one-page weekly to a two page spread, why the name of the blog, a little bit of my thought prosess and preferences… and we’ll take it from there. 🙂
And that is how this journey begins. 😀
